Halloran Contemporary Art Prize 2027
📍 Jervis Bay Maritime Museum & Gallery, Huskisson
Artists across NSW and the ACT are invited to enter the acquisitive Halloran Contemporary Art Prize, with works responding to the 2027 theme, Between Light and Reason, and the Museum's Halloran Collection: Science & the Sea.
Entries close: Monday 30 November 2026

Explore the work of South Coast indigenous artist Tracey Van Oploo, whose large-scale artworks celebrate family, Country, culture and connection to the lands of the Dharawal and Dhurgha-speaking Nations.

Celebrating World Ocean Day, this coastal exhibition brings together the work of Alison Mackay, Richard Morecroft and Randall Sinnamon, exploring the beauty, stories and character of the South Coast shoreline.

Rosalie Gascoigne Exhibition

An exhibition celebrating Rosalie Gascoigne’s connection to landscape, presented alongside significant new works by leading First Nations artists.

Kiama Sculpture Walk
📍 Hindmarsh Park to Kiama Harbour, Kiama
Discover a diverse collection of outdoor sculptures by Australian artists, transforming Kiama's town centre into an open-air gallery celebrating contemporary art, creativity and public spaces.

Arthur Boyd Tapestries Exhibition
An exhibition of 20 Arthur Boyd tapestries commissioned during the 1970s. Many have not been publicly exhibited before.

Archibald Prize 2025 – Touring Exhibition
📍 Shoalhaven Regional Gallery Nowra
See the finalists from Australia’s most prestigious portrait prize, featuring paintings of well-known Australians, local identities and contemporary figures that capture the stories of our time.

Outdoor Studios – Woollamia to Worrowing
📍 Melaleuca Art Gallery, Worrowing Estate
Explore a beautiful new exhibition by local artist Randall Sinnamon, featuring a stunning collection of large-scale landscape paintings inspired by the bushland surrounding Jervis Bay. Created across his studios at Woollamia and Worrowing, the exhibition celebrates the beauty, detail and character of our local environment.
Many of our members will know Randall through our annual pit firing days, making this a wonderful opportunity to see another side of his creative work and support a local artist who has generously shared his knowledge with our pottery community over the years.

Arthur Boyd & Shaun Gladwell Exhibition
📍 Bundanon
A major exhibition bringing Arthur Boyd’s iconic Nebuchadnezzar series into dialogue with a new commission by Shaun Gladwell, exploring themes of power, masculinity, exile and renewal.

Creatures of the South Coast
📍 Shoalhaven Regional Gallery, Nowra
Ngaoara Fellowship winner Aaron Kennedy presents a series of lino prints celebrating the animals, stories and cultural knowledge of South Coast Country through a strong connection to community and Yuin culture.

Shoalhaven NAIDOC Family Fun Day
