Our Potters at the Sanctuary Point Community Fair
We had such a wonderful time at the Spring into Sanctuary Point Fair, hosted by Sanctuary Point Community Pride Inc. The sunny spring weather made it the perfect day to come together, meet new people, and share our passion for pottery with the local community.
Our stall was buzzing with activity as we showcased live demonstrations and chatted with visitors about what we do at the Bay & Basin Bush Potters Group. It was great to connect with so many friendly faces, share stories, and even network with other local groups.
We were especially proud to have our talented members Tobi, Lesley, and Rhona doing live pottery demonstrations throughout the day. Watching them work was a real highlight, and it gave visitors a chance to see the skill, creativity, and care that goes into each piece. It means a lot to be able to showcase the talent within our group and share it with our local community.
Also, a massive thank you to our members who helped throughout the day, from setting up in the morning to packing down at the end. A special shoutout to Lesley for organising the marquee and ensuring we were ready to go – we appreciate you!
We’re also incredibly grateful to Sanctuary Point Printing for creating our beautiful signs, which added a professional touch to our display.
Events like this are such a wonderful reminder of the creativity and community spirit in our region. If you didn’t catch us this time, don’t worry, we’d love to see you at the next one!
